We often see a reduction in the amount of new listings coming onto the market as the holiday season approaches. Over the years, some sellers and buyers have shared with me their preference for separating real estate transaction events from busy holiday season obligations.
That sentiment isn't always across the board though. I have still observed a noticeable quantity of motivated buyers & sellers out there with strong intentions of executing transactions before year's end.
My main thoughts on selling a home this November are focused around initial on-market pricing.
With current market characteristics in mind, careful analysis of pricing strategy should be a top priority for most sellers.
On the flip side, buyers in this seasonal market could possibly be presented with some advantageous scenarios. Such as, but not limited to price reductions within their current search criteria. While interest rate shifts may be top of mind for many, we should also not forget to analyze the other aspects of assembling a purchase strategy.
As always, reach out to me at any time. I enjoy talking about real estate, but also always happy to just catch up.
