In my observations, buying demand in the Mill Valley area and Marin County is still noticeably strong. That said, If you're considering listing your home for sale, a carefully calculated listing price could play a key roll in how long it takes to sell.
Aug/Sep thoughts on buying:
I've noticed a rise in offers that include multiple contingencies, a contrast to just 4-6 months ago. I feel that for many buyers, this a sound and pragmatic approach when visualizing the drafting of a purchase offer. Another thought to consider is; are you still pre-approved? If you're not sure, be sure
to check in with your lender.
